And Here We Go………….

This blog has been a work in process over the course of many years, the idea of sharing what I do at home with others. I have spent years taking recipes we love and twisting them, so we can still enjoy while avoiding the foods we can no longer eat.  We are a gluten free house due to Celiac. I always thought this blog was something I would do “after” the kids were in college or “once” I was retired.  Through a lot of encouragement from my friend Karen and my family, what I thought would be my “next” phase has become part of my now.

I am a busy working mom, like many others out there. I juggle work with 2 teenage boys, my husband, a dog, cat and turtle. I call it my own little frat house, as I am the only girl in all of our mayhem.

My youngest son and I are both Celiac and I also have 2 other auto-immune diseases. In the process to heal my gut and reduce inflammation I am currently cutting out other foods such as dairy, eggs, oats and corn along with a few other items.  I will you give ideas of where you can make substitutions and what might work.  I will try to label what is GF, Egg Free and Dairy Free for easy reference. Most of all, I want you to be able to TAKE what I share and add the TWIST you need to make it your own.
